TEDx คืออะไร?
เพื่อเป็นการสานต่อเจตนารมณ์ของความคิดที่ควรค่าแก่การเผยแพร่ TED ได้ก่อตั้งโครงการชื่อว่า TEDx ซึ่งเป็นงานระดับท้องถิ่นที่จัดขึ้นด้วยตัวเอง ที่จะนำพาผู้คนมาร่วมกันแบ่งปันประสบการณ์ที่เหมือนงาน TED
งานของเราชื่อว่า TEDxBKK ซึ่ง x นั้นหมายถึงงาน TED ที่จัดขึ้นโดยอิสระ โดยในงาน TEDxBKK นั้นจะมีการฉายวีดีโอ TEDTalk ต่างๆ และจะมีผู้พูดสด ซึ่งเมื่อรวมกันแล้วจะช่วยจุดประกายให้เกิดการสนทนาและการเชื่อมความสัมพันธ์ในกลุ่มเล็กๆขึ้น
มูลนิธิ TED ได้ตั้งข้อกำหนดทั่วไปสำหรับโครงการ TEDx แต่งาน TEDx รวมถึงงานนี้ เป็นงานที่จัดขึ้นโดยทีมงานอิสระภายใต้ชื่อที่ได้รับอนุญาตจาก TED

Dr. Khunying Kalaya Sophonpanich
อดีตรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี (2551-2553), ผู้ร่วมก่อตั้ง และกรรมการและเลขาธิการ มูลนิธิสถาบันราชพฤกษ์, ผู้ก่อตั้งและประธานศูนย์การเรียนรู้พิเศษ “ประภาคารปัญญา” มูลนิธิช่วยคนปัญญาอ่อน, รองประธานกรรมการ มูลนิธิสงเคราะห์เด็กยากจนในประเทศไทย (C.C.F.), สมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎร แบบบัญชีรายชื่อ พรรคประชาธิปัตย์ (website, ประวัติแบบเต็ม)
Founder of The Rajapruek Institute Foundation, Dr.Khunying Kalaya will speak on the topic of Forestation and the impact of global climate change.
Martin Venzky-Stalling
Martin Venzky-Stalling is an advisor at the Technology Development Center for Industry (TDCI) of Chiang Mai University. His assignment is supported by Germany's GIZ/CIM (formerly GTZ). Martin works on technology transfer, innovation management, creative economy and regional economic development. Prior to working in Chiang Mai, he held senior management positions in high-tech and strategy consulting firms in Bangkok, London and Hong Kong. He is fluent in Thai and lived/worked in Thailand for twelve years over the past 24 years. Martin has been one of the key drivers of the Chiang Mai Creative City initiative since early 2010. He is married with two twin boys.

ทรงกลด บางยี่ขัน เป็นบรรณาธิการบริหารนิตยสาร a day เป็นนักเขียน นักคิด นักเดินทาง และนักเล่าเรื่อง เขาชอบนำเรื่องที่ใหญ่และหนักมาเล่าให้เบาและง่าย เปลี่ยนเรื่องน่ารู้ที่คร่ำเคร่งให้เปี่ยมสีสันและทันสมัย ทรงกลดร่ำเรียนมาทางด้านเศรษฐศาสตร์สิ่งแวดล้อม ผ่านการทำกิจกรรมด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมมาอย่างโชกโชน รวมถึงเคยทำงานเป็นเจ้าหน้าที่รณรงค์ให้องค์กรสิ่งแวดล้อมที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลกอย่าง WWF สำนักงานประเทศไทย หลังจากเขียนหนังสือเรื่อง 'ต้นไม้ใต้โลก' เขาสร้างชุมชนออนไลน์ชื่อ 'เครือข่ายต้นไม้ขี้เหงา' www.lonelytrees.net เพื่อบอกเล่าความคิดสร้างสรรค์ในด้านการสื่อสารเพื่อสังคม และจัดกิจกรรมให้ผู้สนใจได้เข้าใจและรู้สึกนึกรักโลกใบนี้มากขึ้น ผ่านการเดินทาง การพูดคุย และการทำแคมเปญออนไลน์ร่วมกัน
ปฏิพัทธ์ สุสำเภา
Patipat Susumpow
Patipat Susumpow is the co-founder of Opendream, a social enterprise established to support non-profit organizations and groups by utilizing open-source technologies. He recently started the Openspace, a project that collaborates with elementary in rural areas, launching mini-balloons to near-space level.
ปฏิพัทธ์ สุสำเภา เป็นผู้ร่วมก่อตั้งโอเพ่นดรีม กิจการเพื่อสังคมที่ก่อตั้งขึ้นเพื่อสนับสนุนองค์กรและกลุ่มที่ไม่แสดงหากำไรโดยการใช้เทคโนโลยีโอเพนซอร์ซต่างๆ เมื่อเร็วๆนี้เขาได้เริ่มโอเพ่นสเปซ โครงการที่ร่วมมือกับโรงเรียนในพื้นที่ห่างไกลในการปล่อยบอลลูนไปยังระดับขอบอวกาศ
Mr. Imtiaz Muqbil
Imtiaz Muqbil is Executive Editor of Travel Impact Newswire and Travel Columnist for the Bangkok Post. He has been covering the Asia Pacific travel industry since 1981. He believes that there is no way of attaining global peace other than by opening borders and allowing the visa- and hassle-free flow of people for leisure, work, migration, study, and visiting friends and relatives. คมพิชญ์ พนาสุภน
Kompit Panasupon
Kompit has extensive experience in various cultures, both in design education and design practice. His focus on the strategic front-end of design comes from his interest in human behaviour and social science. Understanding people as users, he studies and observes their inner needs, and creates meaningful, user-oriented design briefs for back-end designers.
Dale VanDusen
Dale Van Dusen has a background in computer science, holding a master's degree from Johns Hopkins. However, his passion for bicycling currently has him on a new path. After building a bike at the Bamboo Bike Studio in Brooklyn last summer he decided to bring the idea back to Bangkok and is now setting up a his own workshop. He hopes to make his mark on the growing bicycle scene in Bangkok with bikes built locally from a renewable resource.

Assistant Professor Dr. Karndee Leopairote
Receiving her doctorate in Industrial Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, Dr. Karndee is a new breed and energetic academic at Thammasat Business School and executive director at Asian Knowledge Institute. She has provided consultancy services in Asian leadership, creative economy, competitiveness and service innovation to various organizations including the Royal Thai Government. Despite her various interest, her passion has always centered around building capability for the new generation for better self and better society
ม.ร.ว เฉลิมชาตรี ยุคล
M.R. Chalermchatri Yukol
Started a new media company called FuKDuK Production CO., LTD. Running 28 Online TV shows, 9 blogs, an online live show and also an online magazine. Now with more than 30 people working full time to bring new media and edutainment closer to people.Soon to produce a theatrical feature film, a book and a lot more.Currently reside in Bangkok, Thailand. Interest in traveling, night life, IT, Work and good conversations.
Gaia Scagnetti
Gaia Scagnetti is a researcher in Visualization and Visual Languages. She holds a Ph.D. (Cum Meritus) in Industrial Design and Multimedia Communication from Politecnico di Milano and Post Doctorate from MIT Mobile Experience Lab. Dredge Byung'chu Käng
Dredge Byung'chu Käng, MA, is a PhD/MPH candidate in anthropology and global epidemiology at Emory University. He is conducting ethnographic research in Bangkok on gender pluralism, social status, and Asian regionalism with a focus on transnational relationships. Mr. Käng is also involved in community and HIV organizing with transgender women and sex workers in Thailand.

Dr. Thavida Maneewarn - Institute of Field Robotics, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi
ดร.ถวิดา มณีวรรณ์ ปัจจุบันเป็นนายกสมาคมวิชาการหุ่นยนต์ไทย ทำงานวิจัยทางด้านหุ่นยนต์ ที่สถาบันวิทยาการหุ่นยนต์ภาคสนาม(FIBO) มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี ได้พัฒนาหุ่นยนต์ในหลากหลายรูปแบบ ได้แก่ หุ่นยนต์ NAMO เพื่อใช้ในการต้อนรับและประชาสัมพันธ์ หุ่นยนต์ฮิวมานอยด์ที่มีลักษณะคล้ายมนุษย์ หุ่นยนต์งู เป็นต้น โดยได้นำแนวความคิดจากสิ่งมีชีวิตในธรรมชาติมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการพัฒนาหุ่นยนต์ นอกจากความพยายามในการส่งเสริมกิจกรรมการแข่งขันหุ่นยนต์รายการต่างๆในประเทศตลอดระยะเวลาสิบปีที่ผ่านมา ปัจจุบันยังได้มีความพยายามผลักดันให้เกิดธุรกิจทางด้านหุ่นยนต์ประเภทต่างๆขึ้นในประเทศอีกด้วย
